About Course

Quantitative finance is an interdisciplinary field the applies mathematics, computer science, data science, and statistics to real world financial problems which include but are not limited to structured portfolio management, trading and hedging financial derivative products, and algorithmic trading strategy development. This course is a gentle technical introduction to the field of quantitative finance through the lens of pricing and trading of derivative products. By the end of the course students will have a fundamental understanding of the way in which popular financial derivative products (namely vanilla and exotic options) trade and are priced.
